Our Library Resource Centre is a centre for learning in the school.  It is a resource that supports and promotes the total development of each student in the light of the Gospel and traditions of Saints Francis and Clare.

At Mt Alvernia, we recognize the need to assist students to develop literate practices so they are able to engage successfully with the information rich environment in which they live.  Our Resource Centre provides library and information services and programs that contribute to the development of our students as life long learners and discerning users of information.

We aim to provide a friendly learning environment supportive of both formal and recreational learning where an appreciation of literature is both promoted and encouraged.
