The members of our community actively support each other in all aspects of College life. We endeavour to create a climate that encourages participation and positive interaction among families, students and staff. Our community is particularly welcoming to and supportive of those whose life circumstances present special challenges.
Communication is a key to strong partnerships and the College facilitates this through both formal and informal means. Our formal communication channels include:
§ Weekly newsletter to parents, titled News and Views, containing information on events and activities in the College.
§ Twice-yearly written reports on student progress and achievement.
§ Parent-Teacher interviews in terms 2 and 3, and at any other time during the year on request.
§ Parent Information Evenings
§ Subject interviews
Parents are encouraged to attend school activities either during or outside school hours to meet staff on an informal basis and to have an active involvement in the College.
