Guidance Counsellors

Two Guidance Counsellors are available to offer personal, emotional or mental health support to students.  Both counsellors are trained psychologists from the University of Queensland.

Students are able to meet with the counsellor of their choice and can make direct referrals by completing a referral form at student services or emailing counsellor@mta.qld.edu.au.  Often Pastoral Guardians will refer students to see the Counsellor in agreement with the student.  Parents are also welcome to contact the Counsellors to seek advice or refer their daughters.

Sessions with the counsellors are bound by confidentiality requirements as per the Australian Psychological Association.
