Mount Alvernia Women’s Network
The Mount Alvernia Women’s Network (MAWN) has been created to provide a forum for past students to share their experiences and knowledge with current students and fellow Alumnae, and to forge enduring connections to the College and with other community members.
We envisage that the Network will grow and develop over time, assisting to strengthen the bonds between past and present students and families.
The inaugural MAWN event – the Networking Breakfast – took place on Thursday 13 June 2019 at the College. We thank Maria Rampa, Mt A Class of 1981, for being our feature guest and for providing insights on her very successful career.
Overseas Study Scholarship
The Overseas Study Scholarship (OSS) is open to all graduates of Mount Alvernia College, Kedron. The OSS is available to past students wishing to study overseas as undergraduates or post-graduates for periods of six or twelve months. Current Year 12 students who have organised overseas study for the following year may also apply.
Funding for the OSS is provided by the Mount Alvernia Parents and Friends Support Network (P&FSN). Preference will be given to students studying at an overseas tertiary institution/university for one or more semesters. Applicants undertaking other overseas study (eg apprentice chef) are also welcome to apply.
All applicants must complete the Application Form below and forward it to the College by the due date. No late submission will be accepted.
The level of funding for each successful candidate is at the discretion of the panel, consisting of the College Principal and a representative of the P&FSN. There will be no negotiation with applicants as to the quantum of the scholarship.
