Feast and Festival Day

Date: September 27, 2018    Posted by: Camilla Horn

On the last day of Term 3, we celebrated our College Feast Day – the Feast of the Stigmata of St Francis – with a liturgy, followed by a true Italian-style festival.

With the theme of Year of  Youth: Define Your Generation, students and staff enjoyed dressing up and partaking in a variety of hands-on activities, partaking in delicious food offerings and enjoying fabulous entertainment from our very own FCIP Rock Band.

The day concluded with a special concert featuring the very best talent in music, dance, and drama chosen from the lead-up heats, and the House Dance competition, won by Greccio.  Rieti was named champion in the overall Cultural Competition for the day – which incorporated performance, writing, photography/video, and cake decorating, to name a few.
