Yellow Day

Date: June 16, 2021    Posted by: Camilla Horn

The hilltops of Kedron were painted yellow as we gathered together to raise awareness and raise money for research into cancer.

Thanks to our Franciscans on the Hill family comprising Padua College, St Anthony’s School, and Delamore Retirement Community, as well as our good friends at Molly’s House, who joined in in the spirit with all manner of yellow goodies – ribbons, face paint, baked goods, lollies, scrunchies, and more – bold, yellow fashion statements, and big sunny smiles.  The inspiration behind the initiative, sadly Megan couldn’t physically join us on the day, but facetimed in from her hospital bed and was delighted with the day’s events raising funds for her RedKite fundraiser.

Students were given yellow wristbands with Megan’s hashtag (#teammeganstrong🎗), which they have worn all term.
