At Mount Alvernia College, student wellbeing is at the forefront of our educational philosophy.

We are deeply committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment that prioritises the physical, emotional, and mental health and wellbeing of our students. Through comprehensive programs and initiatives, we promote a holistic approach to wellbeing, ensuring that students feel safe, valued and empowered to thrive.

Our dedicated team of counsellors, teachers and support staff work closely with students, providing guidance, fostering resilience, and offering a listening ear when needed. From promoting healthy lifestyle choices to implementing mindfulness practices and encouraging open dialogue, we strive to instil in our students the tools and skills necessary to navigate life’s challenges, build a strong sense of self-belief and self-confidence, and cultivate the ability to be able to self-care. Together, we are building a community where each student’s wellbeing is nurtured, enabling them to flourish academically, socially and emotionally.
